Our apartment is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a busy sightseeing and shopping trip in Graz. So, naturally, it is equipped with all amenities of daily life that you could want for a city trip. University Studio Apartment

University Studio Apartment offers space for up to 3 guests and will enchant you with it’s beautiful views of nature. The 40 m² apartment consists of a sleeping/dining area from which you can access the kitchen directly. A standardized bathroom with bathtub and shower is also part of the apartment. The extensive equipment of this holiday home will ensure your city trip to Graz will leave nothing to be desired! For those arriving by plane, the local airport is only 15 km away. It can be reached by public transport or Taxi.

University Studio Apartment is located conveniently close to various shopping and dining options. Supermarkets, such as BILLA and Spar are only a five minute walk away. You will also find numerous bars, restaurants and inns in the immediate vicinity, which offer a broad range of culinary delights. Particularly noteworthy in the surrounding area are the student café Café Kork and the more upscale, vegetarian restaurant “Gerüchteküche”. But coffee lovers and breakfasters will also find the popular café “tribeka” (Trink besseren Kaffee  – drink better coffee), which is loved by young and old, as well as the Graz bakery “Kern” within walking distance. At both locations tasty coffee, filled rolls/bagels and sweets are waiting for you to enjoy!

Graz university district, known for it’s legendary parties is only a ten minute walk away. No matter your taste, here everyone will find the perfect place for having a fun night out!

Apartment with kitchen in Graz: flexibility and comfort

University Studio Apartment has a fully equipped and reliable kitchen, including a small sitting area for two people. This gives you the opportunity to prepare your own meals if you like and enjoy a home cooked dinner right here. Due to the open floor plan, the kitchen area connects seamlessly to the sleeping/dining area. Here you will find a table with three stylish chairs as well as the sleeping area, which can be separated with a blind!

Quiet zone bedroom, a haven of well-being!

Hopefully you will enjoy many restful nights here. Darkened by pulling the curtains, the room is sure to make you feel like counting sheep. If needed, there also is a sofa bed in this room for a third grown-up or a child. The aforementioned flat-screen TV is right opposite the bed.

Prime apartment in a prime location in Graz!

Our modern apartment “University Studio” is located in the picturesque district St. Leonhardt. A tram stop is just 200 meters away, so you can reach the historic centre of this beautiful city in no time! You can get off at the main square and start exploring from there.

The location of this holiday home is also perfect to discover the old town and all it’s sights on foot. The main square is only a 15 minute walk away and you can reach the Schlossberg and the Grazer Uhrturm (Clock Tower) in about 20 minutes. The benefit of this perfect location is that you can always decide whether to walk or use public transport, depending on what you feel like doing.

In either case, from the main square, you can reach the main attractions of the city, such as the Schlossberg with the Graz Clock Tower in just a few minutes.

Graz is known for it’s many different events and festivals. The annual Jazz festival, the Graz Christmas market and numerous cultural events provide entertainment all year round. Find out about current events beforehand to make the most of your visit.

Art & Culture in Graz = unique!

A city trip to Graz ensures the perfect mix of culture and nature. In this city, which was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, numerous historic sights, such as the Graz Cathedral, the armoury or the Folk museum, await you. But of course also modern art is not left out in this city. It can be found  in the so-called “New-Gallery”. Here you will find over 70.000 works by local and international artists. The city is also well known for it’s vibrant art and culture scene with numerous galleries and theatres.

Be it music, art, theatre or culinary delights – there is always something going on in Graz. Take a stroll through the picturesque alleys or take a break in one (or more) of the numerous cafés and restaurants – this way you can experience Graz’s gastronomy and culture up close!

Aim high in Graz!

If you feel like aiming high the already mentioned Schlossberg is definitely worth a visit. If you have a public transport ticket a spectacular elevator will take you up to THE landmark of Graz in only one and a half minutes and without any exertion. From up here you can fully enjoy the breathtaking view of Graz. It is said to also have been the location of one or two lavish celebrations.

The Mur island, a floating platform on the river Mur, with it’s unique architecture is a popular spot for strolls and picnics. From University Studio Apartment you can reach it in less than 30 minutes on foot.

If you feel like recharging your batteries in nature, the public parks Grazer Stadtpark and Augarten are around 15 minutes’ walk away. For outdoor enthusiasts there are also beautiful hike and bike trails in the area! You could also explore Eggenberg Castle. The combination of baroque architecture and magnificent state rooms is something to be remembered!
